Brand Strategy, Site Redesign and Paid Media Pilot

Faced with changes in leadership and mounting tech debt, Hunchly needed a swift and strategic digital overhaul. We delivered in just two months, crafting a cohesive brand framework, a modernized user experience, and full-stack development using React on Vercel. To drive growth, we introduced HubSpot integration alongside a targeted media strategy and engaging campaign concept.

  • Hunchly faced significant challenges due to changes on their core product team. This lead to difficulties maintaining their 2024 roadmap, with pressure to deliver and increase revenue. Technical debt further complicated progress, with the outdated tech stack making website management cumbersome. These setbacks created an urgent need for a a refresh to their brand strategy and a website redesign to drive revenue and boost user engagement. Additionally, since the company had yet to explore paid media as a growth strategy, we included this as a new avenue for potential expansion.

  • To address Hunchly’s challenges, we recommended a simplified yet strategic process to minimize the lengthy timelines typical of full-scale brand strategies and redesigns. We leveraged elements of a story framework as a foundational step to streamline the brand narrative and ensure clarity across user touchpoints. Building on recent mission and positioning work done for the Sapper Labs master brand, we tied these insights cohesively into Hunchly’s new brand identity.

    This branding work evolved into an actionable creative brief that guided the rapid website re-architecture and redesign. The team focused on enhancing site navigation, clarifying user pathways, and ensuring the value proposition for investigative professionals was clearly communicated. We then revamped the user experience, design and completed the site redesign within two months. Additionally, we developed Hunchly’s first media strategy to support paid acquisition and drive engagement.
